项目简介:近年来,与交通拥堵有关的问题(能源,环境,安全等)在全球范围内不断增加,协同自适应巡航控制(CACC)技术成为国际知名研究机构、互联网公司、车企研究的重点领域。研究表明,CACC技术具有显著提高交通流效率、缓解交通事故等优势,然而,甚至搭载最新CACC技术的车辆还不能在简单的真实交通场景下自主安全行驶,究其原因,车载计算控制系统是CACC技术背后最大的技术瓶颈。本项目将通过受人工智能启发的方法(自适应学习系统、人机交互、多智能体认知系统)来提升CACC的自组织能力,将主要研究:异质(不同动力学)车辆在具有人驾驶/自动驾驶的混合交通场景下的自组织能力、自组织通信和自组织编队问题。

Project description: In recent years, issues related to traffic congestion (energy, environment, safety, etc.) have been increasing worldwide: Cooperative Adaptive Cruise Control (CACC) self-driving technology has become a key research area for internationally renowned research institutions, information technology companies, and car manufacturers. Research results have shown that CACC technology can significantly improve the efficiency of traffic flow and mitigate traffic accidents: however, vehicles equipped with the latest CACC technology still cannot drive autonomously and safely even in simple real traffic scenarios. The biggest technical bottleneck of the technology lies in the lack of intelligent on-board computer control algorithms to let CACC-equipped vehicles take smart self-organizing actions.This project will provide self-organizing capabilities to CACC through artificial intelligence-inspired methods (adaptive and learning systems, human-Machine interaction,and multi-agent cognitive systems).
